Review: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child By: JK Rowling

505 pages. I loved every single bit of this script . I wish it was longer and hope that there could be more to this.
I went back with my heart open to feel the magic. It all starts on Albus first year at Hogwarts he is so worried that the Sorting hat will place him in Slytherin. Harry reassures him that if that was the case then Slytherin had gain a great Wizard.
Albus Severus Potter is so different from Harry, there relationship leans more towards hate as if Albus holds some sort of resentment. On his second year at Hogwarts there is a moment where he doesn't want to be seen with his dad. Albus has made a new friend and for this new generation who better then Scorpius Malfoy. They became friends on the first Hogwarts Express train ride, and from that day forward there friendship only got stronger. Who would have guessed given the fact that Draco never got along with Harry.
Ron and Hermione have two children, Rose the oldest is smart like her mother and she is in Gryffindor yet she is nothing like them.
I cried at parts, the emotion is there. I have to say it again I LOVED this 8 not book but script. I will anxiously wait for Fantastic Beast.
I rate this book 5 star because I can't do more.

Review: Point of Retreat

Point of Retreat Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Point of Retreat. By: Colleen Hoover

I really love the fact that this book let me look into what Will is thinking and feeling. I love that I get to see from his eyes that side of Lake. She is so stubborn, yet she loves all 3 of them so much.

I have loved all 3 of your books so far. I am excited to start “This Girl” the 3rd book of the “Slammed” Series. I rate this book 5 stars.

Review: November 9

November 9 November 9 by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

November 9 by Colleen Hoover was recommended to me by a friend when it was released. I had never read any of Colleen Hoover’s books before. I remember going to Barnes and Nobles bookstore to look at it.My plans were to purchase the book, but at the end, I choose a different book.I don’t know why I made that choice, because after finishing it, I truly regret the fact that it took me this long to read something by Colleen.

The whole time Colleen had me on a rollercoaster. I fell in love with Benton James Kessler and Fallon O’Neil. They both had something to give to the other that would help them emotionally. I laughed, I cried and lost sleep. I was so anxious the whole time wanting to know what will happen next. There was a part in the book that made me want to stop reading because it was so intense I was scared to turn the page. I would literally yell my opinion as if they could hear me.

I have to say that I regret not reading November 9 sooner. I can’t believe I missed out for months. November 9 took sleep away as I would say 1 more chapter or just a couple more pages. When I would look at the time it would already be 3am. If I had 5 min of free time I would pick up my book, because I just couldn’t get enough of Ben and Fallon to see where their story would take me.
I give it 5 stars.
Thank you Colleen Hoover for this emotional Journey.

Review: Slammed

Slammed Slammed by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love how this story started. So many questions: are they going to stay together? Are they parting ways? I got emotional along with Lake when she heard the news. Life can always surprise us when we least expect it.

Her and Will have similar life events, it makes their love strong. I love them together.

I'm eager to read “Point of Retreat” the second book in the #SlammedSeries by Colleen Hoover.

I rate this book 5 stars.

Review: Beautiful Disaster

Beautiful Disaster Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beautiful Disaster By: Jaime McGuire

I’m glad that I don’t judge books based on other people’s reviews. I like to make my own opinion about books that are recommended to me. I don’t see how it’s possible that people disliked this one book so much. I enjoyed reading it.
Travis is so dysfunctional yet when he loves he does it without boundaries, he gives it his all. I read how people say that the abuse in this book is so out of hand, but life is not always colorful. There are gray days, hard moments that we all have to endure. Travis and Abby both have issues, but they also have something that the other needs. They are good for each other.
This book has a little bit of every emotion for you to feel. Happiness, anxiety, loneliness, confusion and friendship. America is an amazing best friend, one that always looks out for Abby, she doesn’t judge yet she understands.
I liked this book and I have already started Walking Disaster. I rate this book 4 stars.

Review: Duma Key

Duma Key Duma Key by Stephen King
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Duma Key By: Stephen King

I must admit that this is the first book I have read from Mr. King. I also have to confess that it took me almost 3 weeks to read a book that could have taken me a couple days. I’m not sure if maybe I started off with the wrong book. In the beginning I didn’t have a lot of interest in the book, but I never start a book without finishing it.

I loved Wireman, he is a man that most people would love to have in their lives. He was a very respectful, caring and a funny person, also extremely loving. He went through so much pain and the events that follow are horrible. His breaking point and what happened to him before he arrived at Duma Key is sad. He is an amazing friend, which is one of the many things I loved about him.

Edward, the way he described his paintings and the events that occurred thereafter made me get a lot more interested in the book. It was awesome, very detailed, yet it was creepy. Creepy in the sense that you feel scared and can imagine Ms. Eastlakes stares as you turn the page of the book. I love the mystery and suspense.
“Under the Dome” is my next read. I rate this book 1 stars.

Review: The Guardian

The Guardian The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. The emotion and the tension that this book has is amazing. Nicholas Sparks made my heart skip a beat more than once. He made me feel fear and sadness. He also made me feel a little bit of hatred.
I fell in love with Mike Harris, he is funny, lovable, caring and protective. He became Julie’s close friend after her husband died.
When I met Julie, I laughed a lot. She was so upset with her husband after his death for one of the surprises he left her. She was shocked when it was delivered at her home. At first she didn’t understand why. But as the years passed she came to realize how well her husband knew her and she never imagined she would be so attached to the gift she received.
Richard Franklin, where to start. He is full of surprises, yet there is something that he has in his personality that causes so many red flags. But I don’t know why Julie accepts to go out with him?
The Guardian is a must read.
I give it 5 stars.
